Best Blockbuster of the 80's!

Aliens for me. Cameron was against a lot of odds making that film with a tough crew. Sigourney Weaver deserved the Oscar. It was just a great film that had a lot going on.

Purely that from all those choices, it is the one that holds the most resonance with me and it rates within my top 10 the highest of all the choices.

Tough, there are three or four pretty even there, but I'll go with Aliens as for me it has the best rewatch factor.

Jesus, what a list. I'd probably go with either Raiders or Die Hard.

A hard choice between Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Back to the Future.

I guess I'll go with Back to the Future.

It's a tough choice between several of them. Success-wise it's ESB hands down. But Ghostbusters, BTTF, Raiders, all of them really have their own piece of pop culture to claim so I went with my personal favorite which is Aliens.

Just based off of rewatchability and enjoyment I'll go with Die Hard. Never like any Alien film past the first one.

I have a soft spot for most of these films and I've viewed the OT as a whole for a long time now. As a kid Temple of Doom was actually my favourite Indy movie, but this comes down to Raiders vs BTTF for me and Doctor Jones just gets the mod!

Raiders of the Lost Ark. I adore that movie. I wouldn't change anything about it.

I saw Raiders for the first time fairly recently and understood the appeal throughout the watch, but I'd pick between Predator & Terminator.

Got to go with ROTJ - it may not be the best of all these films but it brought one if the greatest film trilogies of all time to a satisfying conclusion ( and that's not easy to do, just look at TDKR, Matrix Revolutions, Spider Man 3, Xmen Last Stand, Aliens 3....the list goes on)

I remember waiting in line longer to see ROTJ than any other of these films - to me that's a clear indication of greatness.

Out of the above list that's calling for a vote, Terminator, Aliens, Die Hard & Predator are my favourites. Terminator especially, an amazing blend of horror and sci-fi that to this day still gives me chills.

I love ESB, best sequel ever, but the Hoth battle is a bore (!) and I feel like it's less "blockbustery" than ROTJ and the rest of the films in this poll. That's part of what makes it great but I can see why it's not dominating here
