The nominations are in, the poll only has 9 options instead of 10 as several films tied with only 1 nomination so I only included those with 2 or more nominations. Vote on folks! :D:

In the truest sense of what a BB is all about - hype, impact, elevation of cinema to attain new heights, talk of the summer, queues round the block (appreciate more a thing of the past) and of course box office returns, then from the list, for me, there is only one winner - Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Park (1993) - Box Office Mojo

'Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.'

I went with Lion King at first but changed it to Jurassic Park. That film really defined my childhood and the sequels that came after never even came close to touching how great it was.

Jurassic Park was one of the defining films of my life. Those who didn't live through its release will never realize how mindblowing it was at the time. I have to vote for it.

Gotta go with Jurassic Park. Gave me nightmares for a few days but it's one of the first movies I can remember going to as a kid.

Funny thing about all of the movies on the poll is that, of the ones that had sequels, ALL of them sucked.

Jurassic Park remains one of my top three cinema experiences, the atmosphere in the packed showing was amazing, and when the T Rex attack sequence happened the whole cinema seemed to rumble, it was incredbile!

No matter how many things chores do I have left to do... if it is on the tv, I HAVE to watch it! The first and the second ones are amazeballs. Now, the 3rd not that much!

The subsequent ones are rubbish (for me): training a dinosaur it's like getting your cat to sleep all through the night. No can do.

I am torn between Jurassic Park and Terminator 2 :csad:

Those are the big 2 for me. The Matrix is a great and unique film that really changed cinema, but a bit less of an outright blockbuster than the others to me. But when it comes down to it I'll go with Jurassic Park - still possibly my best ever cinema experience given the time and my age when it came out.

Titanic

King of the World, Jack and Queen Rose, owner of the lost blue diamond are just so iconic!

Second is The Matrix, those black leather outfits were a trend!

Jurassic Park is one of my earliest memories of going to the movies. I know I went to movies before it, but I can actually picture that movie on the big screen still. I saw that like 6 times, LOL!!! I was very big into dinosaurs and Godzilla, so this movie blew my mind! Terminator 2 is what I think might be the best pure action movie, though. The ending of that movie is a real tear jerker for me and I just love that movie. Both are among my favorites of all-time, so not an easy choice :csad:

I remember when that hunk of meat fell onto the jeep windscreen, it felt like something had fallen onto the cinema roof. Awesome stuff

The T-Rex was my favorite (as he reminded me of Godzilla). So first time he was in the movie, and he looked THAT real, it was instantly my favorite movie, LOL! To this day I can prob quote the movie as I watch it with 90% accuracy, LOL!

I saw it so many times after it came out on video. The T Rex and raptors were both amazing, as was the initial brachiosaurus unveil.

I acknowlege the sheer greatness of Jurassic park, and I love Forrest Gump but for me there's nothing that comes close to Judgment Day for sheer blockbuster excitement "Hasta la vista baby !"

There's lots of great reminiscing about Jurassic Park but interestingly The Matrix is only 2 votes behind. :wow:
Thanks for reminding me to actually vote! Got lost in the nostalgia discussion. :D:

HR will you be creating a 2000's and 2010's as well and then have each decade winner against each other ? (Please make it so)

True Lies for me easily. It's the best Arnie movie for me, and also one of the most rewatchable spy movies and movies overall of the 90s. I prefer it to all of the Bond films of the 90s, 2000s and 2010s.
