I'm curious to know who everyone thinks is the best GTA Protagnist, just for the fun of it.

My personal favorite? Niko Bellic. The rest seem like they're "trying too hard to be tough" and get pushed around too much... Niko always took control, and *****-slapped whoever messed with him, even in cut-scenes (which is where most of the other characters didn't).

I never got to play the PSP offshoots, but from what I've read/heard, the only decently intimidating character was Victor Vance.

(I know I misspelled Niko's name in the poll, I'd appreciate it if a mod would change that)

Prefered the silent "you" than "you are playing" Grand Theft Auto 3 character.
I think Vice City was the best over-all though.

It is a tough choice between Tommy and Niko. Tommy is just awesome, and Ray Liotta did a fantastic job voicing him. He was funny and tough and wore awesome shirts. Niko is completely different and absolutely more likable. When he gets mad about people who **** with his family, it's believable. I'll have to think some more.

Niko. Niko is the first GTA character that i actually really liked. He was a cool dude.

Tommy. Between Ray Liotta, the funny dialogue, and the shirts...definitely Tommy.
