Bill Finger will finally recieve co-creator credit

Kane is a crook and the whole thing really is a shame. Giving Finger credit now is very little consolation for the fact he died penniless while Kane became a millionaire many times over.

Well, given Kane's contract about him being the sole credit on Batman, Sanders legally MUST have given them permission to alter the contract, given that she's his widow. That kinda thing couldn't be done without her permission.

It should have happened during the 1966 show or at least B'89 but it finally happened and it'll continue from now now. Batman was awesome in BvS except the killing (which Finger had Batman do in the early years)and maintained the origin as well as the character being dark, so I don't think it's sucks to be credited in BvS first.

He may be credited next in JL or at least The Batman and that will be beautiful!

I was in tears at the end of this doc. It was put together so well and really gave an in-depth look at who Finger was. We'll never really know for sure how much Kane actually helped with creating certain elements of Batman, but this fan is giving Finger all the credit.

It's a tremendous documentary that fully goes deep with his life and career as much as possible.

On a side note, I would love to see Aaron Sorkin and Danny Boyle tackle this story and turn it into live action kinda like how he did with Steve Jobs.

It's a documentary all comic book fans need to see. I knew all this stuff before, but Bob Kane truly was a lowlife sham. Other people did the work and Kane put his name on it. Kane only cared about the money.

it's tolal ridculas what happen to bill finger.at best it appears kane came up with name but most of what we know of batman came from finger and the other artists later who kane took credit for.

kane totally lied for years how he took batman from sketches he supposily did based on divanci drawing.he took others work on paintings and claimed them too.he even admited that 50 to 75% of batman came from finger to one who ghostwrote his autobiography.kane was total scum.

Bob Kane making a contract or verbal deal from the beginning that would allow him sole ownership shows how he was a weasel since day 1! Claiming ownership is bad enough but to get away with publicly stating for decades that he created everything is such a damn crime. His tombstone is complete bs!

... I just watched the documentary. It was REALLY insightful... I'm surprised of Kane's involvement of perpetuating Finger not getting any credit. I figured it was more of Kane not speaking up, but it was more outright denying Finger's involvement.
