Production Weekly is reporting that Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson have signed on to star in Black Water Transit.
Black Water Transit follows the divergent agendas of criminals, cops and lawyers as they collide over a shipment of illegal firearms and a double homicide. Willis plays Earl Pike, a criminal who tries to get his family’s illegal gun collection to a safe haven.
The film is targeted to go into production February 12 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The casting alone makes me interested in this and the story sounds like it could be interesting

Kaye Replacing Bayer for Black Water Transit
Source: Production Weekly
February 18, 2007

Production Weekly reports that Tony Kaye (American History X) is in talks to take over the directing duties from Samuel Bayer on Black Water Transit, starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson.

The film will pair the Pulp Fiction actors for the first time since 1995's Die Hard With a Vengeance. The production will still shoot in New Orleans, but has pushed principal photography back until early April.

Based on the Carsten Stroud novel, the action thriller follows the divergent agendas of crooks, cops and lawyers as they clash over a shipment of illegal firearms, mafia ties and a double homicide.

I hope it won't be like Basic where the two main leads don't interact till one scene at the end :cmad:

Travolta was in Basic not Bruce. Thats a completely differant story then this. My guess they are enemies and will inter react alot.
