Yeah, and his lack of doing that up to this point is why there are protest in his city. Sure he did okay with Coronavirus (not great, okay). But he is also the guy who continues to support the awful NYPD and wants to cut healthcare in his state. He has looked at incident after incident of police brutality over the last few weeks in his own city, and has still played up the idea of the "bad apple".

Also saying it the way he said it shows his intent imo. This isn't about fixing policing, and protecting his citizens. It's about him acting like he placated a few unruly children and expects them to take his token gesture and be satisfied with it. That's not a good strategy imo. It shows he doesn't actually care to fix the situation. If he was really concerned about COVID-19 and wants the protesters to go home, maybe actually attempt to fix the situation.

Ugh. I hope he makes a full recovery. My mother has had similar issues recently, and you can see how frustrating it is for her and you just want to help make it better, but there isn't much to do outside of being patient.

Cuomo has been siding with the NYPD for most of this. Which, if you have watched any video, is freaking rich. And now he is trying to get this to go away as fast as possible.

I understand the covid concerns. But I also understand, the south has ****ed us over long before this.
