I only just found out today that Ben Shapiro's cousin is nineties child actress Mara Wilson (Matilda, Miracle On 34th Street and Mrs Doubtfire). She hates him apparently.
People really underestimate how much cops lie and exaggerate on reports.

The cop that got fired for harassing that black soldier said numerous lies in his police report that were discredtied by the video.

I did look for the knife after she was shot, and only saw a cell phone.

But a lot of what makes me weary is the next two cops didn't have their guns out.

Regardless of whether that girl had a knife or a cellphone I think there’s a way to de-escalate this situation without having to use lethal force. Why not a taser or even pepper spray? Unless its actually proven that victim was armed with a gun, I still feel there should be non-lethal ways of subduing a perceived threat in this case.

It's also worth noting that Kyle Rittenhouse and Dylan Roof were taken alive after shooting multiple people, Rittenhouse while walking toward the police lines still carrying an assault weapon, and the police took Roof for Burger King after a massacre in a church, yet a 15-year-old girl can't be subdued without emptying a gun into her?

I get the fact that Rittenhouse and IIRC Roof both surrendered themselves to the police without resistance, while she was mid-fight and possibly (given there's some ambiguity about whether she was holding a knife or a cellphone) about to inflict deadly bodily harm on another teenage girl, but isn't that what tasers are for? Or even one bullet to a non-lethal area, before four shots to the chest?

While searching Google trying to find an answer whether anyone actually knows where he is, I also saw that the DA declined to raise his bail even after he disappeared and no one was sure of his whereabouts.

Well in the article I posted the prosecutors did try to raise the bail, but the judge refused. The judge also said the sheriff would have to handle bail violations, and when the prosecutors pointed out that he can't because Rittenhouse is no longer in the county, the judge just cut him off.

So while I love to complain about crappy DAs, I think this might mostly be on the judge. Unless what you are talking about happened after. That was the newest article I could find.

Well there's also cops donating to his defense fund.

And he and his mom who drives her son across state lines to go shoot some protesters may also have fallen back on the ol' "flee to Mexico" ploy.

All things considered, there is a good chance he is living with a cop. A lot of them seem to really like the kid.
