Honestly, you do have to admit that Kane deserves recognition above others if only for the fact that he came up with the idea that became Batman. If he hadn't done what he did, Finger wouldn't have had anything to work on to make the character we all love. But that's about where it stops. It's become clear over the years that starting the ball rolling was Kane's only contribution and over the years was nothing but a lying braggert who loved Batman most of all for the money it brought him.
The proof of what kinda guy he is is in the pudding: Stan Lee did infinitely more work in comics and lives/breaths the medium. Still works in it off and on. After Batman took off, Bob never mucked with comics again, despite the fact that he was falsely credited with still working on Batman for years.
