Box Office 2006 Part 2

Anyone know how much Lady in the Water cost.

It came up 3rd with only 6.8 million on friday...... man the WB is shooting blanks this year for big summer movies

they are going to wind up heavily in the red because of the Posiedon Suckage.. Superman can barely break even and if you count the past money spent.... it's another 50 Million in the hole.

Pirates still came in number 1 on friday.... Sheesh I didn't expect that....Superman slipped all the way to number 9 on Friday with a neasly 1.9 Million

Lady cost 70m, but it may make only 20m this weekend and it´s been bashed left and right. According to Showbizdata (which was right last week over BOM), SR made 2,2m.

$321m

Now I have a question, can this movie get to $450m???????????

Doubtful. It may had a stronger opening weekend than Shrek 2 and Spider-Man, but its second and third weekends have been weaker than for those movies

It still has a few big markets left to open. It should finish a little over $200 million, maybe 250 Int.

Pirates has also opened in most big markets. It can still reach $500 million Int.

I'm thinking a 40% at most drop for Pirates 2, I'm predicting something like a 34 to 38% for it though.

I think that Vice will do 35mil.
