Horror Boy Kills World (Bill Skarsgard, Jessica Rothe & Yayan Ruhian)

I saw the trailer for this with Monkey Man and I don't know what possessed me into thinking this but up until the end of it I was CONVINCED that Skarsgard was doing an H. Jon Benjamin impression before it was revealed that was actually him. :o

well having it not play in more regions probably was a part of it was not playing anywhere near me. I live within driving distance to 2 big cities Erie PA and Buffalo NY and it was not playing at either one of those areas.

Sucks about the boxoffice

As for the movie, it was fun but the villains weren't interesting. The last fight scene with Yayan Ruhian is amazing though.

It also wasn’t really heavily marketed.

I go to theaters at least two to three times a week and I think I only saw the trailer in theaters twice.

It's a shame this got buried the way it did because I finally got around to seeing it last night and actually enjoyed it way more than I thought I would based on all the trailers.

This deserved better and now I honestly kind of feel bad that I didn't see this in theatres because I found it more satisfying and fun as an action film than either Monkey Man or The Fall Guy.

Granted, I enjoyed those films too, but I was definitely more impressed with the action scenes in this, especially those fight scenes with Skarsgard which looked great IMO. That last fight with Yayan Ruhian was dope asf and felt like something straight out of The Raid: Redemption.

Also, it's crazy that I barely recognized Andrew Koji and Isaiah Mustafa in this.
