I'm a big fan of The Guard, so I've been looking forward to this for ages. Word on the street is it's very good.

I know there's some fans of Martin's In Bruges/Seven Psychopaths here but I'm not sure if they are aware of John Michael's work but film making sure runs in the family.

The Guard made me laugh at inappropriate conversations i didnt know i had the capacity to laugh at. Obliviously inappropriate Brendan Gleeson makes for great cinema. :woot:

Not sure I fully understood everything but it was good enough that I won't mind rewatching it sometime. Great performances all around but Gleeson really kills it. He really is a treat to watch. Love that guy.

I rented this and will post my thoughts after I watch it. Looks like it will be something special.

Good to see it finding some more people
