It's finally happening, Farrell & Gleeson are reuniting with In Bruges writer/director Martin McDonagh for a new film, The Banshees of Inisheer.

Looks like they're aiming for an August start to filming.

Originally written in the 1990's as the 3rd part of a trilogy of stage plays set on the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland (with The Cripple of Inishmaan & The Lieutenant of Inishmore (being parts 1 & 2), but it was never produced, & now McDonagh has converted it into a screenplay.

Gleeson and Farrell play a pair of lifelong friends who find their relationship tested to breaking point when one suddenly cuts ties with the other.
