I've heard about all this GB 3 cgi news..but this is the first time I'm hearing John Belushi's name with it...after all he has been dead for a LONG time.

Thanks to c.g.i. they can bring the dead back to life, on screen. If Belushi is in it I think it should be as a ghost or spirit trying to help the Ghostbusters from... the other side.

the only reason Belushi was mentioned by Ain't It Cool is that the Peter Venkman character was originally written for him. no one attached to the film has even mentioned a CGI Belushi.

This is DUMB.

If anything, it should be Ghostbusters 3. And if you can't get the original cast (which would be sweet), at least get a few to kind of...hand down the legacy to a new generation.

I heard about a possible animated sequel with the original cast lending their voices. THAT would be awesome as well.
