Capaldi as Alfred is a good choice. Kurt Russell not getting Jonathan Kent is a tragedy.

Russell as Jonathan would’ve been good, but I can’t fault Gunn for coming to the conclusion that a Kansas farmer in his twilight years being that much of a hunk is just too far beyond suspension of disbelief.

He’s closer in age to Pattinson than I’d normally like (and a Brit to boot), but I’m starting to vibe with Theo James being the DCU Batman.

His voice in The Monkey’s trailer kind of gave me a sense that he could do a characterization that’s a little more Adam West than whispery/growly.
