Jim Caviezel will attempt to stop Samuel L. Jackson from destroying London in the espionage thriller Blown.

Martha Fiennes' film centers on Will Matlock (Caviezel), a top MI5 operative whose routine investigation of a global corporation leads him to discover an imminent terrorist attack. Jackson will play Julian Lezard, the businessman who engages him in a high-stakes game of wits and deception.

Shani Hinton, Gareth Wiley, Fiennes and George Tiffin are producing. Tiffin also wrote the sctipt and will handle cinematography.

I like both leads and the plot sounds like decent thriller material, but why set it in London.

LOL, what makes that exchange classic is it came from you. Of all people. The Englishman. :D

:whatever: Might be because the main character is a MI5 Agent???

As cute as the roll eyes is, I didn't miss that, but the story can be transported to any City in the world, so when you cast 2 American leads it seems stupid to cast them in a London setting when it could just as easily be New York or Washington.

Ok i agree with the 2 American leads bit, the MI5 Agent should be British.....:woot:

It would be more interesting set in London, New York is too cliche now. This movie sounds pretty good, though.

Juvenile joke about the title coming any time now... :D

Nice to know Jim Caviezel is still getting work. :cwink:

This movie sounds interesting but my problem with it is that the synopsis of the plot sounds like an idea for a plot i was thinking about for the next James Bond movie.......:woot: :csad:

Sounds like the same plot as THE INTERNATIONAL.

Can Caviezel play a convincing British agent?

What? Caviezel blows Jackson?!

HA! I did it. Now we can move on.

Agreed.

I remember all the talk about him probably not getting any major work again after playing Jesus...OH NOES...So controversial!!:whatever:

I don't care what your stance is on religion or that movie he did a great job in that and was barely recognizable, I also liked him in Frequency. Him and Jackson in this...could be alright.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought it said:
