New Mutants
A question mark of a movie in the best way. The idea of doing a horror movie superhero film--and true horror--is fascinating. Josh Boone is a promising director, and Anya Taylor-Joy and Maisie Williams are two actresses with very bright careers ahead of them. This has every possibility of being next year's "Logan," if you know what I mean. (It could also fail spectacularly, which makes it more intriguing).
Avengers: Infinity War
Gasp, I know. The MCU skeptic excited about an Avengers movie? Well, we've spent six years waiting for this movie at this point. It's time to see if it's worth the wait.
Deadpool 2
Liked the last one, and pretty sure the sequel should be a good time. Also, as the first one was pretty lightweight, I don't have high expectations on this. Just be fun.
Black Panther
Marvel's long overdue take on Black Panther. Honestly the director though is why I'm very curious about this one, even if I am getting a little burned out on the formula.
Aquaman
James Wan teaming with Khal Drogo? You have my curiosity.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix
Why not? I feel like the "main line" X-Men movies are at a critical juncture. Do they right the ship after Apocalypse disappointed or do they blow all the opportunity created by FC and DOFP? While I am not too excited given the director, who knows? There was a time where everyone thought doing a prequel set in the '60s would fail. So here is to hoping.
Could not care any less about Ant-Man, Venom, or an animated Spidey movie.
