I recorded some footage and I burnt it to a cd. The cd will play on my laptop just fine, seems to recognize it, but when I put the cd into my pc nothing comes up, the computer says there is nothing in the drive. I put the cd into my dvd player and I get nothing. I saved the footage to TDK dvd-r. Anyone know how I get this to play on dvd's or pc?

might be to do with not being a closed session but that is normally too obvious to miss nowerdays. since you normally get a prompt of do you want this disc to be readable in other pcs.

could be that that format of disc is unreadable in your other machines. with modern drives this is very unlikely.

how annoying :cmad:

I have no idea how to help you.
Maybe you should have tried the Tech Forum :o

did you burn it on your laptop?

Did you remember to pay the Personal Computing Compact Disc Portability Transactional Tax? If you didn't then your CD won't work on any computer but the one you burnt it on.

I burnt it from windows movie maker and now it seems to have copied just fine, but I tried to do it from Pinnacle the first time...Yep Pinnacle proves it is yet again useless.
