Chappelle's Show: The Lost Episodes.

There was some great stuff in tonight's episode. Loved the little bit when Charlie and Donnell found out Dave was in Africa.
yeah that was great. i actually think the way they hosted, and the way the whole episode carried out was done really well eventhough it was without chappelle. :o

Thank god for youtube. I must have watched the 2pac sketch at least 10 times now. Loved the Stop hitting the table and George W moments.

I love the: IM NOT ALIVE! THUG LIFE!

:D

"How am I doing this?"

Damn you Chappelle for denying the world your genius!!

Tonight's episode was pretty blah. Although, the Q&A stuff was pretty funny.

These "lost" episodes were better off not even seeing the light of day. The last couple of episodes have been extremly weak. I've always been a huge fan of the show (didn't jump on the Rick James bandwagon), but for the most part, the lost episodes have been VERY disappointing.

The only skit I've wanted to see, is the one where he's doing the MTV Cribs thing. And they've yet to show it.

They showed it in the last episode.

Not that. He meant the one where they visit Dave's house. They haven't showed it yet.

Thank god. I thought I was missing something. IMO its been pretty bad. Does anyone know if he made part of season 3 before running off or are these skits that didn't make it?

The first lost episode was a riot. I especially loved Darnell. "I need all the screen time I can get, I'm going from ashy to classy!" And, "That mother... I'm BROKE, Biatch!" That dramatic blare they kept using in the money sketch was great, too. I'll have to admit that I didn't get any of that stuff with Tron and Method Man, though.

Black Howard Dean made last night's ep for me. Byaaa! The Gary Coleman thing was dumb, but they can't all be winners. And with the steriotype pixies, they should have quit when they were ahead. While I was mildly amused by the hispanic pixie, none of the ones after that were particularly funny.

The Lost Episodes are made up of skits that were filmed as part of season three, by the way.

The first lost episode was a great Chappelle's Show episode in its own right. The money sketch, the Tupac sketch. Darnell and Charlie. It was great. The second one was very blah, however. So, here's hoping they saved some of the best for last this Sunday.

All in all, the Lost Eps don't really measure up to the first two seasons. Then again, that is a pretty high bar. I can see why he said he felt burned out. Some of the skits come across in a forced way. All that said, I would have continued to put out whatever and taken the money. That was like 50M.

The 2Pac skit was damn funny though. :D

lame-not the same without him and I bet he didnt give his all in those skits,at that point he wanted out and it shows.I still think it was a dumb choice but o well, farewell to another would be legend.

I can't believe i laughed so hard when he said i think it's doo doo:o

Well, that's it. There are 5 more sketches available on the DVD, but that's it for Chappelle's Show. Mediocre ending, at best.

The Tupac Sketch was the only "classic" moment from these three episodes.
