Christopher Nolan's 'Memento' to Get Remake

Man, it's like in top 10 best films of all time masterpiece.
It sure is in my top 10. They might as well remake Goodfellas while they're at it.

Memento now with selfies and Instagram.

Unless this is Nolan's next film, I don't care.

There's only one word to truly sum this up:

Calm down folks the movie isn't To Kill a Mockingbird or something.

Perhaps Brad Pitt should take the lead role for this one after turning down Nolan's offer. :o

Directed by David O. Russell starring Jude Law

This is the biggest WTF I have heard in a long time. :funny:

its even worse guys... next year, only four years after TDKR, a new Batman movie is coming out

peeps just can't leave Nolan's **** alone man

Batman is not Nolan's, sure he made the best one which even completely transcends the comicbook films genre, but me personally I don't mind another Batman film so soon.

But Memento is a different story. That film is Nolan, it cannot work without him. He is the one who understands it in the first place. LOL.

^^ Phantasm was trolling. :cwink:

As for this news, whatever haha, seems like a monumental waste of time and money that they may want to reconsider.

There must be some producer out there trying to remake the original matrix. There has to be.

This is now trending. heh.

This will never happen. The internet won't let it. Mark my words.

Guess I'm going to be the dissenting opinion here. Very worst care scenario, the film is terrible and you might have a modicum of a chance that people will discover the original that way. Otherwise, people are going to avoid it and they'll be in the same place as without the remake; not watching Memento in any capacity.

The original, as great as it is, does not have a large enough fanbase or hook for future audiences for a remake to be a disgrace. It'll always have its small place in cinema, either way.

And really Nolan fans are the last people who should be complaining about this. Chris rose up the ranks via one of his own remakes.

The financiers are so misguided. They're just wasting their money instead of (what Doc Jones just said) spending money on original properties with lower budgets.
