Chupacabra Caught on Tape?

Cuero, Texas -- Sheriff's deputies in Dewitt County say they saw something they've never seen before and they believe it's the elusive mythical creature called Chupacabra. Of course, the sighting was caught on tape. But was it a chupacabra or something else?

Some people believe the Chupacabra is a mythical creature that only comes out to feed late at night. But the Dewitt County deputies say they saw it and recorded their video during the day.

"I'm seeing it but I don't believe it. It's in the daytime," said one deputy. "A Chupacabra -- how crazy is this?"

Cpl. Brandol Reidel says he was on patrol with his partner when they saw something they couldn't describe. So, in case no one believed them when they told their story, they pushed "record" on the dashboard camera, capturing video of what some say was the elusive creature.

"We came around a corner and saw this running down the road," Reidel said. The creature is hairless, has a long snout, short front legs and long back legs.

"It just doesn't look like your average coyote or dog or anything," Reidel said.

Despite no official discovery of the best, Cuero, Texas boasts it is the world's Chupacabra capital. The sheriff says he is willing to worth with credible researchers who want to help solve the mystery.
