A co-worker and I were talking about this today from out of nowhere; like a lower back tattoo, is it a sign that a woman is somewhat promiscuious if she owns a pair of clear heels?

not necessarily because she may have worn them during a dance recital or to a high school formal...

but now that I think about it...that's pretty lame in itself....

its just a sign of tackiness IMO :o

I definately like identifying tramp stamps and hopefully clear heels makes the list. I'm not sold on this one yet though.

Strippers wear clear heels (go check out Chris Rocks bit on it its perfect) and on the flip side, club girls wear clear heels and they are like hookers but without the getting paid part.

If neither of those are comfirmation enough for you...........

That's good enough for me . If a girl has clear heels she is either a hooker/stripper or a wannabe [not sure which is worse] .

The really obvious tan, fake or real. Heavy foundation and bronzer on face, usually thick black eyeliner, and pale pink lip gloss.

Anyone who's seen Chris Rock's bit on them knows that they are indeed part of the new "****e uniform."

There was a big "Ho Convention," right? And there was a seminar that started, "We need somethin' new. Somthin' that jus' says NASTY."

One girl shouted, "Hey, I got it--CLEAR HEELS!"

And the moderator said, "Oooh, girl you're DISQUSTIN'! I like that!"

:o

Clear heels are tacky and cheap. Most women know that they're mainly worn by strippers and hookers, so if they wear them they should generally expect to be stigmatized.

And don't forget pornstars, which I guess are hookers and strippers all in one.

I'm pretty sure I've actually only seen strippers and (what I assume were) prostitutes wearing them so I've got to agree. "Tramp stamps" aren't too bad, it's become somewhat normal, but no one just happens to have a pair of clear heels.

I wore stripper shoes at my wedding. They looked fabulous.

All people with tattoos are either convicts or on drugs.
All people who read comic books are nerds who will never get laid.
Clear heels mean she's a stripper.

Yep,

You guys should take all of Chris Rock's advice, haha, he'll make you super awesome.

I have to go with runt on this one. I've never owned any, but I wouldn't stereotype people who wear them.

I seen plenty of women look good in clear heels, not just skanky types either. Honestly dont think they look that bad.

If you can wear them without making them look skanky they can be nice I guess, I only haven't seen many girls who can wear them like that. :o

^ Those are practically demure compared to the crap girls from my school wear clubbing. I actually really like them with that dress.

This just reminds me of this girl I went to school with who we lovingly referred to as 'High-Class Prostitute' (if you get this reference you are win) because she used to wear teeny formal shorts and vests and that kind of thing, but also had ridiculous proportions (skinny, but short legs and an extremely long torso). She owned a pair of plastic, strappy platform heels and they were so fugly. Oh, and she was kind of skanky.

Oh, and the heels had LEDs in the soles so they lit up when she walked. Who the **** wears that to school?

Edit: realized I was swearing... a lot.

Haha, I've seen those. And the ones with money embedded in the acrylic platforms, and all sorts of crazy stuff. I love them all.

I'd wear them everywhere if they didn't kill my feet after 1.5 minutes.

I have a pair of huuuge ones that are black leather with studs all over. :o They're 7" if I remember correctly. I don't really wear those. Not outside at least.

I think if people want to wear them, go for it, but it's one of those things where I think the person should at least keep in mind that they might be stereotyped for it. If they love the shoes, that shouldn't change whether they wear them or not, but if you go out in a short skirt wearing a pair of these:

don't start crying if someone asks if you'll give them a lapdance :o

Hahaha. Agreed. I hate stereotypes, but it's just as ******ed to be ignorant of the way people will stereotype based on the way you portray yourself.

I previously worked for a footwear import company, and we had a big line of those "Lucite" styles.
