Closers plays similarly to Dungeon Fighter Online, with players picking a character and then advancing through stages clearing foes.

Closers is a 3D, free-form brawler action PC game. It plays similarly to Dungeon Fighter Online, with players picking a character and then advancing through stages clearing foes.


However, Closers also has an additional mode called Aeon of Strife (AoS), which is pretty much a mode in the game that caters to fans of massively online battle arena (MOBA) such as League of Legends or Defense of the Ancients 2.


The game’s name comes from the youths recruited to the mysterious Black Lambs organization. These “Closers” must close dimensional portals across Korea, which are spewing out dangerous demons and other such monsters. You can catch the backstory in the trailer above.

While you can select from a set of four characters to level and then play with in its side-scrolling mission mode, AoS mode will have their own set of heroes.

Closers is in closed beta in Korea on PC, but there’s already an English site available here.

Closers is a 3D, free-form brawler action game for PC. For those interested, embedded above is a gameplay video of Ranger Yuri Seo, who fights with a longsword and a pistol.


The above trailer is from regular player-versus-environment stages. It shows off how the game switches from side-scroller to action-movie style when certain moves are pulled off, which help give it a fast paced feel.


The name Closers comes from the game’s various characters, who are “Closers”. These people are part of the mysterious Black Lambs organization sent to close the various inter-Closers is a 3D, free-form brawler action game for PC.

The kicker for Closers over other similar titles is that it will include an additional mode called Aeon of Strife (AoS). AoS mode is like a MOBA-mode with separate heroes to choose from and play as.

Well that was the reporter interpretation I bet we'll here from the makers it's not that all or it wasn't their intent. I'm sure the Dungeon Fighter part was intended though. Anyway it's still pre beta which explain why some of the creatures act like Dynasty worriers opponent's( they should be aggressively coming at you instead they're ether standing or walking in circles ) I hope that's fixed before Launch.

It's why Dynasty worriers is so despised.

Tired of side-scrolling-brawler-style MMOs at this point? Closers Online is a new title coming from Nexon and Naddic Games that works in that mold, allowing players to take on a variety of different opponents in rendered and cel-shaded environments. If that's everything you ever wanted, you'll be happy to know that there's plenty of information on the game at G-Star 2014.

A variety of gameplay modes are available, ranging from normal story missions to special time-limited emergency events that players can queue up for solo or in groups. Players will also have a daily continue limit (possibly offset with microtransactions) and a skill evolution system based on using Skill Cubes found on monsters. The "grand opening" of Closers Online's open beta test happened this past week, although it looks as though the game is still just in Korean. Of course, this being beta, not all of the features -- nor all of the game's characters -- are available for play.

Nexon has teased a new female character as part of the winter update for its action-MMORPG Closers. She’s called Harpy and is both fast-moving and focuses on leg attacks.

Harpy is due to arrive in the Korean version of Closers on December 22nd 2015. The game is also currently in open beta in Japan but there has been no word of a western release.

We are glad to say that the rumors were 100% correct: En Masse Entertainment is indeed bringing Closers Online (which it is now simply calling Closers) to the west this fall.


The company announced today that it will be publishing Naddic Games-developed Closers in North America and Europe later this year. Closed alpha tests are scheduled for September with a beta to follow, and players can sign up right now to be part of the testing process.
Closers is an online action RPG that features an anime cast of psychic teens who battle interdimensional aliens trying to invade New Seoul. That was a fun sentence to write.Read more

When I visited the En Masse offices during PAX West, it was a crash course in learning how to use a controller — which I haven’t picked up in years — as I was introduced to Closers, an episodic anime online RPG. The game has five different characters players can choose from from the Black Lambs, each with its own personality and dialogue with all the NPCs. It’s time for a new member of the team to take the field in Closers, and the first new addition to the game’s playable roster isn’t exactly happy to be here.

Apparently Nata is part of a rogue group, the Wolfdogs, who were just drafted without a whole lot of thought given to “do you want to fight stuff or not.” But he’s also got a pair of spinning blades and the requisite energy eruptions in the midst of combat, so it would seem that he has at least found his vocation.
