Black was totally devoid of a soul. It had ok graphics, good particle effects, and they put a lot of effort into distruction, but the game itself, the mechanics of the game, the controls, the pacing, the level design, the 'story', were all off.

In fact that one with Bruce Willis was outright horrible.

The island was enjoyable though. But most of the others ae trash.

Black never made words up. It was just great fun, I loved blowing stuff up in that game.
