Here in Canada, there are only two weeks left until the University fall semester starts, but I'm still pretty excited. Going into my third year, studying towards an English Major, I'm taking Creative Writing and Library studies and Comparative Literature, as well as (duh) English.

I love it - no homework other than reading the dozens of thick, juicy novels I've been assigned, and I'm already reading ahead. Whoo-hoo!

What classes are you taking this semester? Are you or are you not looking forward to them and why?

It's my freshman year, and I've got Drawing 1, 2-D Design, and Public Speaking (not to mention First Year Seminar, but that's just a throw away bull**** class). Not too excited about Drawing and Design because I'm not really an artist (we didn't get to choose classes this semester, and they're required courses anyway), but Public Speaking is in my major, so i'll be fine.

I'm in Highschool, but I'm getting alot of mail from colleges.

Acting, actually, and if you consider it to be that simple, you've obviously never done it.

moving into my third year of my BA in english. Gonna be hard work. Doing Lit of the Gothic, shakespeare and something else which i cant remember, oh and a dissertation.

Rogue, which university are you attending? I was thinkign about going to England for college for a little while.

Acting got old for me. I had to resign myself to work more productive for my tastes, building the sets and such for the actors to work with. Much more exciting to me, it's as if you are crafting the story in a way, drawing the audience in more than a simple back drop and dim lighting would do.

I never could stand to hear the sound of my own voice so perhaps that is why I prefer writing to acting.

Yeah, I tried the production side of things, never could really get into it.

Nice - I'm taking 18th century lit, popular lit, and lots of Canadian lit (but only because my Canadian University makes me take courses with Canadian content for credit).

ive just fdone 18th century and popular in my first year
18th is cool lots of stuff going on, lots of art involved too

I started writing a book once called "College Sucks" but I only got out 3 pages before I gave up.

Good thing, though. :)

Anyone seen Keyser Sushi around lately?

nah. He came back recently for the Ledger fiasco, but he didn't stay. I talk to him on AIM every now and then

I'll be starting my freshman year in two weeks. I've no idea yet what to expect. Don't know my roster, classes, you name it.

Start back at college on 6th september to do my second year of A-Levels, im taking chemistry, biology, english literature and psychology. This year is going to be so tough :(

classes start at RU september 5th. I'm probably moving back into my apartment the weekend before that for good. Taking 4 poly sci classes, and intro to french. Gonna be a pretty easy semester and I'm counting down the days till it starts. I absolutely love being at Rutgers.
