College-Bound Hypsters: Got Class?

Nice - I'm taking 18th century lit, popular lit, and lots of Canadian lit (but only because my Canadian University makes me take courses with Canadian content for credit).
LOL seriously? What school do you go to? My friend went to U of T and she only needed one Canadian lit credit, and at Western (where I went) I think they only needed one credit as well.

They still whined about it though.

I'm most looking forward to Accounting because I had already covered a lot of the basics and even some advanced levels in high school so I know I'm going to sleep through the class and still knock it out of the ballpark. The rest also sound interesting enough...well, except for Integrated Humanities. :down::(
Mind you, I'm in Canada, but I don't think university Accounting is nothing like high school Accounting. High school Accounting was like bookkeeping... advanced level (corporate) accounting is, well, in one word, complicated.

But if you're only in first year, you should definitely be able to sleep through accounting. My guess is that it only covers sole proprietorships and partnerships... corporate accounting and joint ventures come into play in Intermediate and Advanced level courses.

Second year, first semester... Intro to Engineering 1011 is really awesome... The teacher rocks and he's such a geek...

- There's a glass that is filled with water up to the half... There are three persons watching this glass

The optimistic person says "This glass is half full"

The pesimistic person says "This glass is half empty"

The engineer says "This glass has double the capacity for water. We should fix this." The engineer proceeds to cut the upper part of the glass

made me lol :woot::up:

Wow - that's like the opposite of what's usually assumed on the Internet.

HottGrll1991: OMG, like this board is cooler than Twin Peaks.

AnimeJune: What? Wasn't that show on, like, in the 80s?

HottGrll1991:.....<HottGrll1991[[email protected]] has logged off>
