First Avenger Comic-Con Cap shirt

Being one of the 'fortunate' ones to attend this past SDCC, I picked up a Cap shirt that was given out after the Cap/Thor presentation. Tell me if this means anything to anyone:

The upper left corner reads - Rogers, S. with the numbers 1110-1328-0817

Centered is a star enclosed by a circle with "Camp Lehigh" written above and "Army" below.

The back shows an eagle enclosed by a thick circle with the words "Strategic Scientific Reserve" . "Rogers" is written above this emblem.

One the right short sleeve is another version of the eagle logo, etc.

I used parenthesis around fortunate because it was WAY too crowded. I spent all of Saturday inside Hall H...14 hours counting wait time and fight time.

lehigh is the base he was stationed at, it's all stuff from when he was being evaluated to take part in the super soldier program

i have the same shirt. Camp Lehigh is where he was stationed. My bets guess is the eagle logo represents the earliest incarnation of SHIELD. no idea about the numbers, that's some LOST ****...

the serial number is Joe Simon's and Jack Kirby's birthdays. Joe was born October 11, 1913 and Jack August 28, 1917 - so you mix up the numbers and get 1110-1328-1317 [day, month, year]!

Also, I just noticed that the wing design on the shirt is about the design used for Cap's helmet.

So mad I didn't get one of these.


I was told that the ticket redemption room was closed by the time we left Hall H, and to come back on Sunday. Of course, I had to fly home Sunday morning and never got to pick up my SWAG! Argh. Next year I'll be staying all four days.
