Grant me a late pass on this since I'm just getting back into the game but is 52 worth it? Are the back issues still easy to get with going broke? Considering a DC title and this one seems to be on a lot of people's list.

It's worth it, but for someone who'd have to go buy the back issue, who's just getting into DC (apparently, at least), I wouldn't recommend it. It's a weekly comic, it's has a long, extended storyline need some previous knowledge to understand. It's great for current fans, but not for you. Yet, at least.

If you're looking to get into DC, I'd suggest really any of the books about the major heroes - nearly all of them are fantastic, and pretty easy to catch up on. JLA which is just relaunching next month with issue #0 might be of most interest to you, though.

And if you have any questions about any of DC series, don't hesitate to ask. I read most of them. :o

Read ASM in store and was not impresed.

I think everything Spidey related will be a letdown for awhile in comparison to the bomb that was dropped in Civil War #2.
