Batman,
is bulky, aging, muscular and dry (like Stallone in Rambo 4).
With a contstant grimm look on his face. Undressed you would see every vain, muscle and senew.
He doesn't seem to have a social live anymore, no other reason to live for except fighting crime.
This is obviously a dark Batman, who doesn't use weapons. But it should look like he kills the badguys with a single blow, but it's not definitive if he really does. He doesn't care about the victims, he just really want's to hurt the badguys.
Suit description:
The grimmest cowl ever, with medium sized ears.
There should be an armor kinda look and feel to the suit, boots and gloves are leathery.
The suit is dark grey, no black pants and a brown pouch belt (almost second World War type belt).
And he's still wearing a cape. The suit is damaged and patched up a bit, but not to obvious.
Bruce Wayne,
is rich but there's a limit to his money.
Wayne Mansion is still around but it should look deserted and neglected. He doesn't own Wayne Tech anymore and is depending on his own skills to repair and design his suit and the batmobile.
There's a Batmobile but not the kind we are familiar with, it's a black tanklike sportscar. Huge but agile and covered with dents and riddeled in bullits. Bruce doesn't have the money anymore to buy a new car everytime.
He is how-ever experimenting with a new tech toy (stolen form Wayne tech) that could make him invisible when needed, it works fairly well on the Batmobile, but it can only be used for a few minutes. This makes it easier to get away from the police.
Alfred,
has died of natural causes, and Bruce has been almost a loner al his live. After almost a decade of fighting alone, without Alfred to provide medical care. Bruce realises he can't do this alone.
Tim,
at some point Timothy Drake (in his 30's) has to be introduced (an ex-marine/green baret/special ops with a medical background), not as Robin but more like a back-up, as a driver on the batmobile, he's always nearby to assist but only when Bruce calls him in.
(He's wearing a simulair suit as Batman, but wearing a tech kind off ski mask, and without batlike features on gloves and no cape).
Batman and Timothy don't use nicknames, Bruce has never officialy been named Batman (media and police call him “The Bat-man” or “ The Bat”.
They communicate with Defense acronyms, Bruce is called “Commander” and Tim is called by his past rank in the military “Lieutenant”.
There's never been any Robins or sidekicks and other superheroes.
