Could Gordon make an appearance. My top picks:

Phillip Seymour hoffman
Alan Arkin (think Gattaca)
William Hurt
Billy Bob Thorton
Ed Harris
William H Macy
Gary Sinise

Bryan Cranston.

Give him whatever he wants.

It's too bad Chris Cooper is playing Norman Osborn. He would have been a good Gordon.

Isn't it a bit premature to start this thread considering that we have really no evidence to suggest that he may even be in this film?

Bryan Cranston for sure. I like the kurt Russell suggestion though.

Maybe Ben could erm.... PERSUADE some of the WB executives with the idea. I mean, after all... :awesome:

Batman and Gordon side by side. Goosebumps.

I'm totally on board for Cranston as Gordon, but anyone feel like having a go at a manip to show off potentially how perfect he could be?

Bryan Cranston for Gordon.
Bryan Cranston for Gordon.
Bryan Cranston for Gordon.
Bryan Cranston for Gordon.
Bryan Cranston for Gordon.

I suspect that may be the case. Just like how in TASM they haven't included JJJ yet, I can see them holding off on casting Gordon just so they don't have to go with the immediate public comparisons to Oldman.

It would be easy for them to just set the film in metropolis and not even have to worry about that issue.

Cranston is the only choice, I know people want him for Lex but that's just Breaking Bad fans being silly. He is a much more inspired choice for Gordon and Oldman left more to surpass than Hackman or Spacey did. Cranston.

perhaps there will be a mention of Gordon or even a small cameo, but i also think that Gordon will not be in this movie

have a feeling that the film will take place for the most part in Metropolis so there really is no reason for Gordon to be there. it will most likely just be Bruce & Alfred

If not Cranston, then Jeff Bridges.

I wouldn't be surprised if we DIDN'T get Gordon in the film.

Like, maybe Gotham would only appear briefly- not long enough for us to see Gordon, with most of the action in Metropolis. This is especially true if the rumors that Luthor will be the villain are true.

Gordon - Brian Cranston
Alfred - Bill Nighy
Luthor - Michael C Hall

Throw in a minor bat villain and that's all the major casting for this one.
