Have they tried playing a copy yet? I don't know enough about Atari games, but if it was a NES game, it would probably still work.

My mom told me she had an Atari and the only game she had for it was E.T. This explains everything.

I never actually minded this game as a kid.

I found the tricks and considered it a "speed" game. It does suck if you have no idea about the manual or what any of the symbols mean.
