Cop killer on the run calls out to celebs

Apparently they're saying that no one will get the 1 million dollar reward because it was for the guy's "capture" so because he wasn't apprehended no one gets the money.

Typical. They just wanted people to try really hard to find him. No one does anything for free. Say "$1 mill reward" and everyones ears perk up.

You would have thought he'd want to have the limelight and be put onto a pedestal (courtroom), ala Mickey from Scream 2.

Nah. There was no way the cops were letting him walk out of that cabin alive. He was a dead man walking.

That would be like giving the whereabouts of Bin Laden and not getting a reward because they gunned him down. If they promised a reward it's b.s. to take it away from them. At least give them something.

Exactly. They weren't going to let a cop killer walk away.

I was gonna put this in the thread earlier as well to reiterate a previous post's thoughts about him being taken alive but didn't because I didn't want to start any possible frenzy.

But yeah, that dude was not gonna be coming out of there alive. I know they said they turned away the news copters because he might be watching it on a tv or whatever, but I'm sure they also saw that as an opportunity to unleash hell on that cabin.

From all the indications, he didn't want to be taken alive anyway. So it's a win-win.

Capturing a heavily armed ex-cop and ex-soldier on a murder mission.

I'd ask for more than a million.

I agree with MessiahDecoy123 in this thread. I agree in not letting past conflictions hold water today, but as a man who was assaulted by police when all I needed was to be handcuffed I have zero sympathy for police officers.

Heh. Poor dude.

"That's So Raven" star Rondell Sheridan breathed a HUGE sigh of relief when he found out Christopher Dorner was dead ... 'cause they look so much alike, Rondell says he was legitimately scared to go out in public.

Rondell -- who played Raven Symone's dad on the Disney sitcom -- tells TMZ ... ever since the manhunt for Dorner began, he noticed people were giving him strange looks in public ... the kind of looks that say, "I could get a reward if I capture this dude."

"Honestly I know it’s nothing to laugh about, but I will admit I was a little nervous flying to LAX last Sunday, " Sheridan says.

"I was like 'Are people checking me out cause I was on [TV], or cause I look like that guy everybody’s looking for?'"

Rondell says the confusion got so bad, people notified him about an "RIP Chris Dorner" Facebook page that mistakenly featured the actor's photo.

Still, Rondell says he would jump at the chance to star as Dorner in the inevitable movie ... "But with my luck they'll give it to LL Cool J."

Um, what about the police officers family that, in this case, was also killed?

I can totally understand you not trusting police officers after what you went through...but to openly pretty much *high five* a guy that was willing to kill anyone to get his "story" out there is pretty sick in my opinion...

I'm not going to get into this debate because I'll only wind up getting banned.

So.....every single cop in the world is evil because one or two did something bad to you? Nice concept....I need to do that too.

When I was six years old, a teenage black guy stole my Halloween bag of candy....so all teenage black guys are evil. They deserve no sympathy from me for anything they do.....ever.

When I was thirteen, a teenage white guy sucker punched me while we were arguing....so all teenage white guys are evil. They deserve no sympathy from me for anything they do....ever.

When I was in my early twenties, my girlfriend at the time broke my heart....so all women are evil. They deserve no sympathy from me for anything they do....ever.

This is cool....you can use this excuse to hate everyone and be prejudicial and biased against anyone....what a great way to live your life.

I can only go by what I live through. I would say 90% of the people I have run across have been racist without needing to be. If you want to pray to confederate flags fine by me, just be real about it. I do. I stay to myself and pray no one talks to me. But, they do. They bring racist crap and I'm tired of turning the other cheek. So, yes while I feel bad the captains daughter was shot I have zero sympathy for the cops. What's the score cops 100 Minorities 100,000

Racism upsets you but you're willing to judge an entire group of people based off the actions of a few. Do you seriously not see the irony in that?

So logical fallacies are okay so long as you only go by what you live through? Phenomenology trumps critical thinking?

You are extrapolating generalizations and stereotypes based on your own perception of life experiences. Which, ironically, is the same fallacy many racists make.

I understand I'm being honest with my thoughts. People are people. Some bad some good. I don't look at someone skin first. I look at their character. I was just giving my experiences. Now do I choose to stay to myself, sure. My own friends, yes. But mostly because we share the same interest and I don't have to worry about meeting racist people. Excuse the post I made above. It is not my true thoughts. I should not have posted that. I really am a fair judge to all creeds of life. While saying this I do get tired of turning the other cheek. Why I was not up in arms going after a cop killer is because whites kill blacks all the time and black people outside of marches and things like that never really get any true justice done. This guy kills a cop or two and why should I want him dead? Cops are human like the rest of us. They signed up for it. Now like I said I feel sorry for the daughter and her family but not the cops.

To be fair, the cops didn't sign up to be killed by one of their own.

So your argument goes as follows:

1) Whites kill blacks all the time and nothing is done about it
2) Therefore when this guy kills some cops, I'm okay with that

What a heartless non sequitur. Add to that you're ridiculous statement that "cops signed up" to die. Cops don't sign up to die. They are aware of that risk, yes, but they don't sign up to die any more than you do when you drive a car.

You're still holding onto the fallacies and grudges that indicate that you are not, in fact, "a fair judge of all creeds of life."

You agree that your argument is fallacious?

That might be a first in the history of the internet.

What we have to do is look at how these feelings can arise from racism. It's wrong to not sympathize with someone's death/murder, but we can all see how it can happen if one is angry enough. And then a lot of police if asked would probably admit the reason why they're racists is because of all the gang violence and urban crime they have to deal with, to which communities may feel that they aren't given a chance for real growth, and so on. Then what if some policemen now want payback for the people that Dorner killed by going after his family, and then they in return and so on? The fact is that evil begets evil, and there's no upside or justice to be found in that.
