Let's say hypothetically, a Spider-Man movie was made in the 1980s and he didn't come down with Parkinson's, I could honestly see Michael J. Fox as a decent Peter Parker. He has both that everyman appeal needed for the role and based on his sitcom work, could convincingly transfer Spidey's trademark wit and sarcastic streak. My main concern, would of naturally been, his height. Spidey is like 5'10 in the comics, whereas Michael J. Fox is about 5'5.

Hmm, I could see it. Fox can give of a dorky, yet smartass performance.

Camera angles help with height, so theres no problem there.

I think that if he were younger, he could do a better job than Tobey.
Hell I'd still cast him....lol.

I really like Michael and I see him playing the part quite well...

Back in the day? Hell yes, Michael would have been perfect!

Most definately.

Michael J. Fox would have been a great Spidey.

Y'know, I think Fox would make an excellent Spidey now that I think about it...

Back in his prime yeah. Would have been better than Toby with the one liners. Toby always sounded bored/depressed as Spider-man.

I can see him as Peter Parker, for sure, but I'm not sure about Spider-man. Michael would have to put on alot of muscle and for some reason,I just can't see him as the "fighting" type. lol

It's funny you guys mention this. I was watching an episode of Scrubs recently and was really, reallllly paying attention to his voice and the way he approached certain lines and I was totally thinking that. Hey, he could always lend his voice to any future projects. :) I'd certainly like him as ol' Pete.

Now I want an 1986 Spidey Movie with M.J Fox! Damn you :csad::cmad:

Marty McFly is closer to Peter Parker than Tobey Maguire in the movies.

I think that a younger John Cusack would have made the greatest Peter Parker of all time.
