Seeing it with a large crowd is sometimes what makes half of the fun. What were the reactions? Which scenes got the biggest responses?

The crowd I saw it with was awesome. They laughed at the right moments and cheered at the right moments. Not a single person left before the mid credits scene, Marvel has us trained at this point ha. There was even applause at the end.

Same here. Laughed at the funny parts, even applauded at the epic parts. Tons of dressed up people as well. It was definitely a comic book audience, I loved the atmosphere.

Did everyone like the Ant-man trailer? I assume it was the newest one.

The trailers that got the most response in our theater were BVS, Fantastic Four, Ant-Man and Star Wars. There were a few laughs for the stupid Adam Sandler movie but not much else.

The Imax 3D screening I went to showed the first Jurassic World trailer (in 3D) James Bond Spectre trailer, and the new Fantastic Four trailer, and the new Star Wars Force Awakened trailer. No Batman Vs Superman or Ant man trailers. The Star Wars trailer got a BIG cheer.

Strangely, at my IMAX screening, we got all of the big trailers (BvS, Star Wars, Jurassic World) except Ant-Man. I figured that would have been attached to all prints of the film.

My audience loved it. [BLACKOUT]Vision hitting Ultron with Mjolnir[/BLACKOUT] got the biggest cheer.

My crowd was kinda lukewarm, sadly. They laughed at all of the funny bits, but there was no cheering at any point and no clapping at the end.

I think the audience liked it, but I don't think they loved it. I went to the same movie theater for the first Avengers as well, and that audience went crazy over everything (in the best ways).

Only me and my two nerdiest friends had any audible reactions in the movie besides laughter. That was kinda a let down, as it really is awesome when you get a good crowd who's very responsive.

Jam packed IMAX 3D viewing. Crowd was great. Laughing, clapping, and loud cheering throughout. Everyone seemed to love it. Couldn't have asked for a better crowd, really

The sad thing about this recent trend where "midnight" releases are spread out over several hours is that no one showing seems to be very full, at least in my experience in a mid-sized town.

This crowd was fine. It's hard to compare this crowd to my A1 crowd since that was a midnight showing and A2 was an afternoon showing.

They laughed where they were suppose to. Cheered at the right moments. And everyone stayed for the post credit scene (and though i left knowing that there were no aftercredit scene i did notice a good number of people staying for the credits)

For my audience, it seemed everyone was really ramped up for the first half and then the reactions really died down towards the end. Many of the jokes seemed to fall flat.

Always a good crowd at the IMAX 3D theater I go to. You can tell lots of them are CBM fans.

There were big reactions for Hulk/Iron-Man fight and a particular scene with Vision, but reactions died down a bit for the third act. However I still think everyone enjoyed the movie. I heard a guy next to me say he switched from being a DC fanboy to a Marvel fanboy after watching the mid-credit screen.

That wasn't the case in my local AMC theater for last nights showings. The one and only IMAX 3D showing was jammed packed (the one I went to) and ALL the 2D showings were sold out. Even the normal 3D showings were nearly sold out (from what I heard).

lol

Every scene with Vision got big reactions, especially that one scene.

My crowd was awesome, they laughed, cheered, gasped it was a great vibe.

People screamed and cheered after hawkeyes speech .

Good crowd at my 7pm showing. Lots of laughs.

A HUGE reaction when Vision [BLACKOUT]picked up Meew-meew[/BLACKOUT] :oldrazz:. Lots of gasps. You could tell there were a lot of fans.

More gasps at the well-publicized exit of a character.

People literally screamed at the mid-credit scene. I actually found it disappointing since it didn't give us any information we didn't already know.

Less than half stayed for the credits and there were grumblings when nothing happened but 2 girls in the front gave out a blood curdling scream when "Avengers will return" came up. Not sure if they were trying to be funny or not.

Overall seemed like most people enjoyed it.

The scene you mention got a huge reaction from my crowd, too. Kinda of a long drawn out 'Oh snap! Chuckle, chuckle, chuckle...'

But it was a really good crowd. Lots of cheering for the BvS and TFA trailers.

My audience was too quiet. Only a few of us laughed at the funny bits.

I watched a 10:15 PM IMAX 3D show on Friday, and I assume it was sold out. The reactions that I recall:

- Huge reaction to the intro and ending of Star Wars
- Semi decent reaction to BvS throughout
- Big laugh and cheer to
Vision picking up the hammer and giving it to Thor
and him using it to attack Ultron from behind
- Good laugh to Vision's, "Well, I was born yesterday"
- Semi shocked reaction to
Quicksilver's death

I was surprised there was little reaction and cheers from the slow mo circle action shot when all the Avengers were together, party scene of the members trying to pick up the hammer, and the mid credits scene.

Saw it while visiting a small town in PA, it was about 3/4 full, I missed much of the trailers. Got very good reactions to Ant-man and (suprizingly) decent reactions to Pixels. Not much reaction to Fant4stic, I probably missed Star Wars(BOO!)

Theater goers over the film, some debate from those after (some liked the first better, some liked this one better).

Also, there was a free comic book day stand there.

I saw it yesterday for the second time and the crowd kinda sucked. They barely laughed at the funny parts or had any sort of reaction at all through the movie. It was a far cry from the sold out/ lively cried I saw it with Thursday night in IMAX 3D. The crowd yesterday even had someone who thought it was a good idea to bring a baby into the showing. So for the first 30-35 mins of the movie we all had to endure a baby crying off and on. They finally left after they saw other people in the theater starting to get annoyed.
