If there was water, there was the possibility of life.

Fascinating! I hope that someday we'll confirm that life exists elsewhere in the universe. I really hope that it'll happen in my lifetime.

Unfortunately in the mind of people....

Imagine this theory. Humanity started on Mars, what if Mars was a habitable planet millions of years before Earth was.

We were an extremely advanced species but asteroids/etc. made us move from Mars to the newly habitable planet Earth.

All Battlestar Galactica of us.

There actually is a, "we are from Mars" theory, but it's not quite the same as yours.

Life could of been habitable on a neighboring Mars, and we have people who debate the only life in the universe is us.:doh::doh:

Mission to Mars isn't a documentary :p

I believe the proper reference would be Mission To Mars. :o

This is pretty big news if in fact that was a fully functioning body of water.

Like others in the thread have stated, I would LOVE to see a confirmation of some kind of lifeform in space in my lifetime.

Cheers to a beautiful universe SHH

Very cool  It's such an amazing discovery. Certainly creates a lot of questions that need answering. I dont believe we're alone in the universe, and hopefully the day that they announce it officially isnt too far away.

Wow this is an amazing finding... Looking forward to further discoveries.

What if Mars was earth before earth became earth?! Now that would make a great movie.

Me and Keanu together in one film.

See? That be a mistake on your part. 47 Ronin recently had a very disappointing debut in Japan with that Reeves. If you're going to star in a picture get yourself a better hack than Reeves, maybe Tom Cruise. :o

His movie's lackluster Japanese debut is nothing to comment on. It's hard to get a movie about Japan to succeed there apparently so even if the rest of the world loved it, it would probably still not do well there.

That said, it doesn't seem all that impressive to me. It's not that it looks terrible (though some of the CG is poor), but I'm also not feeling the hype either.

You're wrong! I love sad Keanu. Nicolas cage can be the bad guy. Also, the fat guy with the ponytail.
