Custom Captain “Ironman” America

One day I was checking out some fanart on a websites forum. THere i came across this crossover verison of Ironman/Captain America. I totally had to try a custom out of this concept. This is a some concept art from an artist called Juggertha . The basefigure is from the Ironman movie toys. I re-sculpted the chest to add the star. The forearm shield guns are made from a tip of a plastic spoon, then resculpted, with the addition of missiles mounted to the bottom. It's really cool concept, I did make two of them but I just wanted one for the pic, I like the look. Now is has a magnet on the underside to attach its self to the arm. The arm has a nail head glue to the elbow joint for the magnet. Simple repaint after that, I guess Tony Stark made Steve Rogers a suit after the Civil War ended.

Did you use an actual cap shield for his wrist blade thingies? If not, I think you should have.

haha really? its a pretty thick and thin in some area's paint job if you ask me (look at legs)... the reg ironman movie figs look better then that

It should have looked more metallic. I almost feel inspired to buy another Iron Man to try my hand at it.

My question concerning the "shield"

Is there a point to where he puts his arms together and the shield pieces form together? And is it the detachable type? Or does the shield sleeves just serve the purpose of a new look?

Anyway, great job on the sculpt!

Sorry to disappoint, Great paints are expensive i do the best of what i have to work with

LOL simple semi circles like the drawing i just added missles under neath , they attach by magnets

Read my description , I did make two I used only one for the pic, cause i like the look better........
