D-War (Dragon Wars)

I thought D-Wars had a good concept for a movie. But good god this was badly done.
i agree, i can see how this movie could have been one of those movies that was GREAT, but because of the lack of Advertisment, it will be overlooked, sort of like Equilibrium.

But D-War had extreme bad acting and not enough tension

This is something that should be remade in a few years. Great concept but bad cast & crew & get ILM to do the dragons & sfx next time.

It was poorly acted and overly hokey, it came across like a made for sci-fi movie mixed with Power Rangers.

Watching a dragon army attack a city was undeniably fun, and it's a pretty looking movie though.

EXACTLY! And that's what most people paid to see- not the acting or plot. :o

And you could actually see them putting all of their money into THAT sequence.

The city battle was the best, most exciting sequence, but all that screeching in the final battle was quite irritating. The movie sucked, the dragon scenes didn't.

rented it to see what's the fuss is about it, glad I never spent more money on it at the theaters

agreed with morg, this movie was awful.

i would spend the 4$ on something else BUM.

rental 4? only cost me 1.99 and don't rent The Invisibles either!

Equilibrium is a great film....purely because Sean Bean's in it.....ha

nah not just that....it had a good story line, script and acting to back it up....

Dragon Wars robbed me of 2 hours of my life and i want it back.....how do i get it back?

Ok...FINALLY saw this movie.

and you know what? I loved it!!
It didn't feel like an americanized monster flick...and that's what I loved about it. Had this been a traditional monster flick, it would have taken all the spirtuality and other elements out and just been boring. but with how it is...man, I really enjoyed it. Loved seeing the armored warriors and beasts walking down the street.

Something you don't see in a lot of movies here in the states...great flick! Had a lot of fun. :)

The ending was really strange.

Finally got to see it today....bad acting, plot holes to drive a semi through....and some of the best fun I've had in weeks. Tanks and helicopters fighting dragons in the streets of L.A........YEEEHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

So is it worth a one time watch in your opinion C. Lee?

Sure. Go in with a sense of humor and want to have fun. The screenplay was not done by Tennessee Williams or Arthur Miller...it doesn't star Meryl Streep or Daniel Day Lewis.....but it has some of the coolest Dragons and the best war between dragons and the military out there.
