I think after reading Wolverine: Road to Hell, I might actually give this a shot.

I don't know much about Daken, the only thing I have read with him in it was the Dark Avengers/X-Men Utopia crossover. But the X-23/Daken story in road to hell was pretty cool, so what the hell.

But his costume does look pretty stupid.

Did anyone get this issue today of Daken? I bought it but haven't read it yet. What does everyone think of it?

It was alright. I think I might actually start reading this series. I was kind of bummed the story from Wolverine: Road to hell wasn't continued, but hey, whatever.

I liked it well enough. It had the same tone and art from when he was in Dark Avengers. I hope it stays like this, he was quite devious with the ladies and I liked it.

It was good. Daken is a good character when written by Marjorie Liu. I know that Lui and Way are both writing him, but Way, even though he created Daken, started to make Daken boring.

As first issues go, that's what it was. A first issue full of set up.

Reprints usually take a month, right? Anyhow i enjoyed #1, but it was really just this nasty evil warmup for what Daken is out to do.

How do you feel about the costume Daken is sporting? The colors might not be fabulous, but it's growing for me more and more. Still should be more fabulous!

His look is ugly as hell. He either needs to get a new mask or ditch it completely bc it ruins what otherwise might have been a semi-decent costume
