Starring Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, and Julianne Nicholson. Paradise is set in a serene, wealthy community inhabited by some of the world's most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high stakes investigation unfolds. Stream #ParadiseHulu on January 28.

LOL WTF is that description? Are they deliberately being misleading or did the person who wrote that not watch the show?

Also, did they CGI underwear onto Sterling’s butt in that trailer? :funny:

It's on my list of things to check out. :D

1st 3 episodes are out, I just saw the 1st 2 and I must say I enjoyed them quite a lot

Same here! Though I figured out episode one's big reveal at the end almost right away. Watched too many shows, lol. Still really good. :)

Yeah I like that its essentially 'This is Us' but with extinction level event even has similar vibes

I think I am starting to buy into the theory that even though the massive exctinction level distaster was natural, Sinatra (and the help of the other billionares) played a role in helping accelerate it it, her motivation being she already lost a son, she didnt want to loose her daughter as well so she created 'paradise'

I watched this yesterday and I have to say that I did NOT see that twist at the end of episode 1 coming. It’s one of those things that I could see being really polarizing because if you don’t see it coming, you’re under the impression that this is an entirely different show than what it turns out to be. I’m fully on board though and it looks like they’re taking a “Lost” approach, focusing on a different character each week. Brown, Nicholson and Marsden are crushing it (as per usual). Also, good to see Gerald McRaney again.

Watched the third episode and the quality continues! This may well be my first pick for best shows of 2025. :)

I just watched episode 3.
Look, I can believe that the government excavated an entire mountain, built a city inside that simulates sunlight and moved 25,000 people inside. But don’t expect me to buy for one second that Sarah Shahi has ever eaten cheese fries in her life.

Finished episode 4 and dammit, there are way too many twists in this show,

Damn James Marsden killed it, can't help but feel bad for Cal during his final days.

Episode 5:

Xavier’s Wife is most definitely alive!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if she was the survivor that Susan was talking about.

Could Cal have made a mixtape for Xavier? Or will Jeremy's mixtape have all the info and voice recordings of that faithful day when the surface expedition was murdered?!!

Like Billy, Cal was a tragic character, he just wanted the respect of his father, to be his own man and just to be loved by his son. In another life he could have achieved these but sadly the cards he was dealt meant he had to play by his father's and Sinatra's rules.

But if you gonna become your own man and fight the sins of your past, the way he did it in the days to his upcoming death showed true character and strength of will.

The amount of detail he put into his endgame to bring the people responsible to justice is on Batman prep time style level!!!

The way Cal has always respected and relied on Xavier, he is the only guy he could and has ever truly trusted.

Leaving breadcrumbs with the cigarette number shows he knew Xavier was the one to right the wrongs he could never do himself!!!

Here’s a bold maybe ridiculous theory but what if there isn’t a murder suspect?!

What if Cal killed himself?! And set it up knowing Xavier would take the lead on the investigation, find the cigarette with the number on and try and solve this conspiracy?!!

Also can we say how cool Xavier looked at the end of Episode 5, Xavier lost a lot: his Wife, the President and his best friend and Brother. With him losing so much you know he not gonna lose anymore, so good luck to anyone in his way!!!

Did Sinatra actually look scared?!!

Love this show.

Honestly the way that episode played out, I honestly began to think damn maybe he just killed himself ,given nobody close to him wanted to be around him, including his own son

Also why are we not ruling out Cal's ex wife as a possible suspect? the way Cal's body looked , seems to indicate it was a crime of passion, had it been a professional , they would have made it look like an overdose (similar to Billy's)

Finally caught up. Still loving this. My only disappointment was that I lost count and thought there was a sixth episode to watch, but I was wrong. :waa:

Yeah, there has to be SOME reason we haven’t seen Xavier’s wife, even in flashbacks. Either she’s still alive or they have a big name actress playing her and only wanted to pay her to appear on one episode lol.

Another great episode
we finally get to meet X's wife, however whether she is still alive or not or if Sinatra is stalling to buy time is another story
s

Yeah it could be a lie but I don’t think it is. Loving this show
