Dave Franco to Portray Vanilla Ice in Biopic To The Extreme

To the Extreme will be a biopic focusing on the former rapper in the vein of The Disaster Artist.


I'll be watching.

I thought he was okay in The Disaster Artist but it's not like he had much to work with anyway since Greg Sestero doesn't have a very outgoing personality in real life. I can see him doing better as Vanilla Ice.

Honestly, this sounds like it has a lot of potential. I actually had the privilege of working with Vanilla Ice on a charity project a few years ago and he, uh, well he definitely is a character, but he’s got a good heart. He’s got his issues, but there’s something there. It’s nice to know he’s involved in this and he’s not the complete butt of the joke without being in on it.
