Yeah i can def see her doing a bond theme, she's got that kind of voice and tone that would give the classic bond feel.

I hope they do get her. And i agree she needs to chill out on the partying and substance abuse. She used to be pretty hot when she first came out, now not so much!

Amy Winehouse clears up the Bond 22 title song rumours

British pop star Amy Winehouse has denied she is set to record the new James Bond theme - but insists she would "love to" if given the chance, reports Contact Music.

The "Rehab" singer has been linked with the iconic 007 soundtrack since the release of her sophomore offering Back To Black last year.

But Winehouse blames the rumours on a superspy sound-a-like track on the album. She says, "I would love to, but that came from someone saying that Love Is A Losing Game, a song on the album, sounds like a James Bond song. "I think that's a great compliment, but that was it."

Bond composer David Arnold and legendary 007-diva Dame Shirley Bassey have all reportedly backed Winehouse to perform the new title song.

Never really listened to much of her stuff but that Rehab song was a reminder. Never knew who sung it when it came out. Now it's become clear.

As for the other song that bears some resemblance to a Bond theme (Back in Black right?), I'd be all for her landing the gig. I guess she'll have to clean up her act even though it would become a contradiction to the Rehab song.
