just a character sketch for let's go to utah!

this is a ballpoint sketch of some guy who came into my cd store...

this is a sketch of real-life leif, ballpoint. no pencils, pen straight to paper. good practice!

i was watching akira the other night and doodling and this is what came out. pretty cool.

i was at work, and this guy came in...
leather hat, sunglasses indoors, black and white striped tight pirate shirt, TIGHT STONEWASHED HOT PINK jeans, big early '90s sneakers, talked like he was from california, AND practiced karate moves in the store. blew my mind, so i had to draw him.

That last guy needs to be in the follow up to your "Let's go to Utah."...what would that be "Let's go to Cali."

Oh yeah and on a side note if you do decide to publish or self-publish LGTU, you'll have to look into the rights to Leif character, you'll probably need to get the real Leif to sign off on it.
