yup. i figured that, since i'm selling this book now, i'd only use songs that i'd obtained the print rights to...mainly songs by regional utah artists.
INDEED!

-"Were we going to live happily ever after? Who knows. What does that even mean?"
-"It means you're an idiot."

Classic! and the expression on the cop's face... priceless!

Freaking cool man:up: Leif wants to make sure he get's the blame so that's why he beat him up at least that's my guess.

It's cool cause when you started I thought it's way to far out to print you own stuff but now i'm the production supervisor at a self-publisher so I get small books runs everyday from people who just wanna see their stuff in print it's awesome.

it's an exciting time for self publishing, but there is a sort of glut of self-published stuff out there right now, so it's hard to know what is good. most people assume that it all sucks...which most of it kinda does. but it is so gratifying to have the freedom to print my books for my friends and 'fans!' hahaha!

This is freaking great. I can't wait for the end.

thanks, man! me too!

I completely know what you mean I go to Literary festivals for my Job and try and you know tell people what we do and self-publishing has like this stigma attached to it. So it usually takes a few minutes but when I let them know that even a big publisher isn't going to market their book for them If it sales it's because they're working it and they'll be doing that with me or someone else. The only differece I see is that when they sale your book for $25 you only get 70cents where as a self published book you sale for $25 you get to keep all of it minuse what you paid to print the book ($5).

Anyways don't want to hijack your awesome thread if you want to talk more about this PM me.
