DC's themes own Marvel's themes

Why is it that Marvel's ochrestrated themes suck, especially compared to the DC.

Are all easily better than anything Marvel's done so far. Superman had it easy because one of the best musicians ever doing it. (John Williams) But I have no idea why Elfman slipped up with Spider-Man when he did the awesome Batman theme.

I thought Spidey's was pretty iconic actually, but it was diluted by the time 3 came out.

Han's isn't as iconic as Elfman's imo so it's hard to tell how much I like it, but I do listen to it a lot.

I don't think Spidey's is memorable. The Black Suit Spidey theme is more memorable, IMO.

I agree DC's themes are great but I love Spiderman's theme. Definately original and yes it sounds iconic to me.

And while Burtons Batman is definitely iconic, Id say that Nolans theme is pretty forgettable.

I thought the themes for the SM movies, Hulk, and DD were all good. Come to think of it, I also liked The Punisher (2004)'s theme, too.

Hmm... I don't remember that theme. Maybe if the movies didn't suck so much it'd be iconic.

I hope some future Marvel movies get John Williams as conductor (Caps would make sense seeing as he's had plenty of experience with this genre. Just think of a mix between Super Man's & Indiana Jones' themes), it'd be pretty damn awesome.

I loved Spidey's themes. And Hulk's. I honestly-as much as I enjoyed TDK-did not find its theme music memorable.

DC has 1 good film series. Nolan's Batman. Burton's was good then it turned to crap. And after Superman 2 that went downhill.

The Dark Knight owns all of the movies though. DC and Marvel alike.

Spiderman was a good series (the 3rd movie is debatable).
Iron Man has a good chance of having a good series.
The Incredible Hulk was good.
Fantastic Four ehh.

And Marvel seems to be planning for the future with The Avengers. Overall Marvel is better IMO. But Nolan's Batman franchise is the best comic franchise and probably will be for a long long time.

Not a big Superman fan and I hate the Burton movies, but the music in all of them was great and even Goldenthal's Batman Forever music was quite good.

Overall I'd agree that DC has better music.

I liked the Ang Lee's HULK score but TIH music was just serviceable, the Iron Man music was good but not really amazing, X-Men had a very weak score and the X2 and X3 scores were good but not great.

I'll give you Superman, because that's one of the best film score compositions ever. The Batman Begins theme is average at best. Elfman's Batman is pretty good, at least for the first film.
