Anyone here drink Kombucha?

I've been seeing it in the produce section of various grocery stores for a while now as if to suggest it's a good beverage.

What's your favorite brand? (Currently drinking Kombucha "Love" from Brew Doctor). It's a fad really picking up steam moreso than anything on the food market I think I can remember as far as specifics go (certainly topples the whole Kale craze years ago). Never tried it until about a month ago and now been buying pretty frequently as tastes pretty good.

I don't drink them because they have trace amounts of alcohol in them. I know other people that are sober that do drink them and enjoy them though. More of a personal thing for myself I guess.

Have you tried Highland Country?

The GTS brand seems have most sediment out of any that I tried and bit tangier/more carbonated (am actually drinking the Gingerade as I type this which pretty good). It comes in a clear glass bottle so I don't know if that's an indication of quality (some seem prefer darker glass protect probiotics against light). I also heard of people getting it fresh from a farm preferring to drink it warm out of a mason jar (body able to absorb easier compared to if too cold).

In humorous context, this makes me think maybe the FDA should put an "H" for hipster on certain products bought at the grocery sort of like how various products are now labeled "Non-GMO" and so forth.

I buy it occasionally. A classmate raved about it so I got curious. I enjoy it, but am not obsessed with it like some people I know.

Just read about the recall that happened back in 2010 over labelling (https://www.kombuchakamp.com/gts-synergy-ap5-kombucha-debuts). Odd cause I haven't seen any GTS Kombucha labelled AP5 (Above .5% alcohol per volume) or BP5 (below .5% alcohol per volume) anywhere. I suppose some homemade Kombucha can be about 1-3%; would like to try that.

I've been drinking kombucha for about 6 years now lol, some can be quite bad but others are refreshing and taste great to me. My favorite is the Revive brand from Sonoma county, they don't sell em anymore where I live so I've been missing them. Right now I'm enjoying Rowdy Mermaid brand kombucha the most in its place, though. I like the one's that taste kind of fruity and not as gross.

I tried my first a few weeks ago, GTS Lavender Love Kombucha. It took some getting used to but I managed to finish the bottle. I've tried a few others since then.
