World Definitive "Superman II"

I honestly can't vote for either; if WB were fan-saavy, they'd wait a couple years, then maybe if Singer's sequel gets off the ground or Smallville ends (whichever comes first), they could create a more 'definitive' version of SII recut from both Donner's AND Lester's versions.

I like elements of both versions,but since Donner's version is clearly not 100% completed I have to go with Lester's cut,but I do think Donner's cut would of been a better film if Donner could have stayed on the project in 1980.

take the donner version, add "General...would you care to step outside" and superman getting flowers and food for his dinner with lois from the lester version and BAM definitive.

Lester's is the offical continuity, but I much prefer the Donner cut. I think tend to think that theatrical versions out rank alternate cuts, regardless of my personal preference.

dude it was a joke. I love superman returns. LOVE Superman returns. but most of the people who bash the movie call him a homewrecker cause he knocked lois up, whiped her memory, and left for 6 years.
