About to head to the American Girl store with my daughter and her friend; but, I have enough time to answer a quick question.

Yes, I actually buy all those comics. (Today's bill with my discount, not including the Punisher #1 signed copy by John Romita that I left at the store, because it cost $19.95 and I'm waiting for a cheaper week cost a little over $200.00. I ended up getting 5 variants; plus, I wasn't aware that the $6.99 Batman Incorp. was all new material. That upped the price.) Now, as I'm working more and more, it takes me quite a bit of time to actually get around to reading many of those books. I currently have about three small boxes of comics on my "must read" list.

As for Invincible...I wish I got into that book when it came out. But, I didn't, and I keep thinking one day I'll just buy someone's collection and catch myself up. I know. If I would have just done it when the book was in the 20's, I'd be much better off. Invincible is that one book that I should be getting that I'm not.

I know people that are like five to six years behind on their comic reading. My one friend has three long boxes full of unread comics. Thankfully I tell him what's good and what has jumped the shark.

Also, the one comic podcast I listen to, Comic Geek Speak, the one host is LITERALLY 10 years behind on comic reading and has a special sister podcast dedicated to reading those comics and reviewing them. Interesting experiment and some people just love comics but don't have the time to sit down and read them.

I'm thankful that I generally get time through the week, or weekend, to get my reading done. Right now I'm behind. I have a stack of 32 comics in my room just waiting for me right now. Mostly including American Vampire and I, Zombie issues.

You spend more time trying to figure out what books too keep and drop, or how to package them together, than you spend reading in a week.

I've bought collections in the past. Figure out what you'd like to get for them, and send me an offer, if you're really interested in selling. I also do trades, as I have a closet packed with extras that I've gotten over the years by buying people's collections.
