happened to the storyline with the giant bats, Talia spying on Bruce, and Jezebel? Maybe I'm thick, but everything has gone all over the place and I have NO CLUE of any singular events.

We've got leagues of Batmen, future roach Daimen, and the return of Ras (which I eagerly await). But what the heck is the deal? It's like DC just wants us to buy anything Bat related and ask questions later.

At least I can FOLLOW the Outsiders...everything else is like a freaking kalidescope. Mess!

That storyline did jump around a bit. I believe I read that all of Morrison's stories since OYL are interconnected. Somehow.

That arc with Talia is being picked up with the Return of Ra's Al Ghul storyline.

I'm completely in the dark myself, it must be because I'm only picking up the issues done by Andy Kubert.

Hey I forgot about that...

grant morrisons run has been quite awesome thus far!

Andy Kubert isn't doing any more issues.
Yeah that is why I'm in the dark because of an unstable artist on the title, I hate it when a storyarc gets good and then the artist leaves midway.

I dropped it after the crap that was #666...I had only really enjoyed the Joker issue, the rest was mediocer to just plain bad...

The League Of Batmen storyline is utter crap. Some of the worse that I've ever read.

I loved 664 and 665 (and 666 to a lesser extent), but yeah, The League of Batmen thing was absolutely boring.

I've really enjoyed Morrisons entire run.

Good, I thought it was just me. Truth is, I only started reading with Grant Morrison's run so I had no clue who all these other people in the League were. I hope this book picks up because after that first arc with Damien, I've been struggling to really enjoy this book. It is all over the place, not a good thing for new readers like me. :(

Are you kidding? The art was stellar and innovative in a way that didn't detract from the superheroic aspect of the story (more than can be said for that prick on BatCon) and the story was fun and engaging.

Silver Age sham characters revived. For all intents and purposes, that was the first appearance of all of these characters except Cyril and Beryl.

heh...i thought the league of batmen story was fun. and it had phenominal art.

The art was good but the story hurt my brain. Too confusing. :(

I agree. I liked the way the different panels were done.

what was so confusing about it?
I had a hard time keeping track of who was hwo and who was who's kid. I just wasn't familiar enough with the characters. I always felt like I was missing something. Some of the action panels were hard to decipher though the art itself was pretty good. It wasn't as clean as Kubert's work which I never have trouble making out.

The confused, wandering lack of continuity in ANY issues where stories are dropped out of the clear.
The Batman and Son arc had a clear ending.

It was a cliffhanger to be sure, but it was a clear ending.
