Ang Lee. For action classic Crouching Tiger, superb erotic spy thriller Lust Caution, and heart-rending drama Eat Drink Man Woman. ETA: Just saw he won. But wanted to throw a vote in anyway.

My favorite Lee film is "Sense and Sensibility".

I love them both, but Alfonso Cuaron. He's an all-time favorite for me.

This one is actually hard. I am a big fan of both. But I will go with Christopher Nolan, because he made Memento, and Cuaron made me sit through way too much Sandra Bullock.

This is also quite tough. For all the praise Nolan gets, he really does simply make cracker jack blockbusters, where Cuaron has a more artistic bent... Still... WHAT BLOCKBUSTERS. I have to give this to NOLAN and his master craftsmanship.

Alfonso Cuaron. Children of Men alone is one of the greatest things to come from cinema.

Christopher Nolan. Both great directors, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy far more of Nolan's work.

I was not expecting for Nolan to be winning so easily. Hmm.

Not all of Cuaron's films are as accessible as Gravity or the Potter film. Nolan does have a wider appeal. I get why he would do so good.

If he hadn't made Gravity, I would have given it to Cuaron. But man does that film bother me.

Nolan is one vote away from winning. Just need Ollie to come in here and deliver the final blow, you bastards.
