Since there hasn't been a decent King Arthur adaptation on film in almost 40 years, I think people have long stopped caring. Also, for whatever reason, people seem to give Disney adaptations a pass even if they aren't faithful to the source material.Well it's still an adaptation of the once and future king. It'll kinda be scrutinized.
I'll definitely see a Disney remake when they do Black Cauldron. But this has potential.
The stone isn't gonna be a living stone for Disney to cast someone as the Stone. If Andy Serkis doesn’t play the stone, this movie is dead to me.
Cool. The Sword in the Stone is one of my most rewatched Disney movies, but as usual I'm hoping the remake won't be too faithful to the original. The cartoon isn't popular though so I doubt it will
Hold on everyone!
You could, if he looked like thisOh man I don't know if I could watch Gurgi die in live action lol

Anyway, I hope its not a straight to streaming release.
I haven't read the books but apparently Gurgi is not supposed to be cute
Isn't Disney working on a Chronicles of Prydain reboot? You may get your wish if the first movie is successfulIn the books, he doesn't even die! Honestly, I know a lot of people love Disney's Black Cauldron, but I would have loved to see the series adapted in its entirety (though, I mean, you could probably cut out The Castle of Llyr), because it's properly epic. One of my favorite series as a kid.

Hey, if Brits can play Superman and Spider-Man, then we're allowed a crack at King Arthur.I could see them getting Wilson radjou-pujalte from jamilla and Aladdin for this. Keep the open casting going.
Just please, no Americans.
