Do you own/play an instrument?

Started playing guitar (I have a cheap Peavey) a couple months ago, played piano as a kid.

So yeah, In response to the whole topic: I do own a few guitars and I play them, ha! I also play the banjo (learning basically) and keyboard (Not piano, huuuge difference).

I also front my own band: www.adamshadows.com.

Take a listen. It's definitely not for everyone.
Love your voice and nice beat.

Sorry. We've just got alot of stuff coming up soon, so maybe if we're playing near anyone on the boards, they come and check us out!
If I were closer to you I'd come check it out :)

I can play: drums, harmonica* and vocal chords*.

I can sort of play: guitar, piano and the Native American flute*.

*I own these. :o

I have a violin, I need to practice. I own two guitars, been a long time since I've played them. I've taken clairnet and piano lessons.

Played the violin since I was 13, but haven't done it for a minute. I'm checking out Esperanza Spalding at the Chicago Symphony next month, and she's actually motivated me to pick it up again. Now I just need to find a violin.....

I'm still trying to get better at bass, I own two bass guitars.

I tried playing an axe once.

Now my fingers are bloody stumps.

I got an electric guitar back in 2006 because I wanted to learn to play and my brother in law was going to teach me. But then my sister and him got divorced. So I never learned.

In 2009, a friend of mine sold me her keyboard and I took piano classes at school for the next 2 years. I liked it better, but I stopped playing now since I don't "need" to learn new songs now. I do kind of miss it though.

I own a bass guitar and an electric guitar.. I'm not very good on either one..

I own a guitar and a harmonica. I suck at playing the guitar and I'm not that much better with the harmonica... even though it came with an instructional book.:wall:

I've been playing the guitar since I was a child. I think I'm doing pretty well. Recently, I started playing ukulele and it's even more interesting for me.

I used to mess around on guitar. I was terrible and haven’t played in a few years. I can sort of survive at piano, but I’m not very good.

My wife plays piano and used to give lessons.

My oldest son plays violin, piano, and Erhu (a Chinese two-string instrument kind of like a miniature cello). He is concertmaster of a number of orchestras and is looking at conservatories to attend when he graduates high school next year.

My youngest son was very promising with piano. He played for several years before completely giving it up. He just wouldn’t practice.

Does having to play a recorder while in the 6th grade count? Because if so, then I guess I can kind of play that, just not very well.

In the sixth grade I played piano and took lessons. I sucked at it, but if I sat down and tickled the ivories, I’m sure I could play a tad bit of something.
